Sounds like you may be asking if the 4 inch Offset part # BWGNXA4085 can be used with the offset facing towards the cab of the truck or towards the rear of the truck. While it was designed to be used with the ball towards the rear theres no reason it couldn't be used facing forward since the center hole used to pin the ball is completely centered in the shank.
