The chaiin tighteners would not stretch far enough on my 18inch rims. Chains fit fine.

We offer several types and sizes of snow chain tension adjusters. You could use Glacier part # PW99 on your 18-inch rims or a multi-arm adjuster like # TCMA3 which offers the advantage of having more than one elastic cord in case one should break.

There actually isn't a difference because both the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains #TC3829 and Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams #TC3829CAM are only for on road use and not off-road use.

For your 285/70-17 tires on your 2021 Jeep Gladiator, technically both the #TCOA2 and #TCOA3 will fit your wheels. However, I recommend going with the #TCOA2 because they will be a bit easier to stretch in order to fit on your chains.
