Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
Question:
2001 chevy silverodo 3500 crew cab 8foot bed with step bumper the top of receiver hole on the factory hitch is 3inch below the step bumper . looking at about 16000 lb hitch 2inch receiver. looking at the 15313 would that be the proper hitch? would like your recommendation. about 3below step bumper is good.

The Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15313 will fit the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with a 10 inch deep drop bumper. If you have the standard step bumper then the Curt # C15312 will work for you.
If you need an adjustable ball mount as well I suggest the Pro Series # 63070 that includes 3 different sized hitch balls, up to a 4-3/4 inch drop or 5-11/16 inch rise, and a gross towing weight of 14,000 pounds.
