Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit 2016 Chevrolet Impala Limited
Question:
What is the part number for a hitch to fit the 2016 Impala Limited. This is the old body style that was around for several years. Both receiver sizes.

We have two trailer hitch receivers to fit your 2016 Chevrolet Impala Limited and they're both 1-1/4 inch Class II receivers. The Draw-Tite # 36407 and the Curt # C12252. They both have a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 300 pounds. The Curt does require the use of a stabilization strap, part # 18050, in order to be in compliance with their warranty whenever carrying non-trailer loads. For this reason I suggest the Draw-Tite.
If you're going to be towing and need a 4-way trailer connector the wiring harness # C59236 is confirmed to fit. This will hardwire into the Impala's wiring and uses a powered ModuLite to keep the car's wiring safe.
For a Class II drawbar the Draw-Tite # 36061 will give you 3-1/8 inches of rise and also includes a pin and clip. Then use # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or # 19257 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball.
