Engine Block Heater Fit for 2012 Kia Forte
Question:
Have a 2012 Kia Forte. Small town one mechanic, he prefers not to install a heater with a freeze plug. Will this fit and can you tell me where the engine plug is located, for myself interest. Thanks

We checked with Kat's and the block heater part # KH11812 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Kia Forte with either a 2.0 or 2.4 liter engine.
If you have a 2.4 liter engine you need to use the second right rear cartridge. If you have a 2.0 you need to use the left front cartridge.
I attached a picture with a diagram that points out where each of these locations are.
