How Do the Trailer Tail and Stop Lights Function When Connected to a 2009 Nissan Murano

Question:

I have a question regarding CURT #55571. As far as I understand the turn and the stop signal shares the same wire the yellow and the green one. What happens when I turn the signal and push the brake at the same time? Is the trailer going to light both, the turn signal lamp and the stop lamp? Maybe this sound as a dumb question but taking into consideration there is only a single wire for 2 functions I think the question is legit :-

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 55571, uses a converter that will change the electrical signal from the separate turn and stop lights on your 2009 Nissan Murano in to a single wire to the trailer's tail lights. The trailer lights will work as both the turn and stop lights.

The converter in the Curt T-Connector changes the electrical signal from your vehicle to allow for your trailer's tail lights to work properly. When you use your brakes and the turn signal at the same time, the signal is split to allow whatever trailer turn signal you are using to function and the other trailer taillight to illuminate as a trailer stop signal.
