Snow Traction Device for 2015 Subaru Forester and 2016 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
1. I have Forester 2015, 2.5i premium, 225/60R17. You are recommending several Thule chains including CB-12 which has 12mm profile. Foresters owners manual tells: no chains, but can use other SAE class S traction devices. Does the CB-12 comply with SAE class S? 2. My another car is Chrysler TandC 2016, Touring, 225/65R17., also SAE class S chains requirements. Thule makes XG-12 Pro chains which should fit, but you dont have them on your list for this car. Is there any issue in using XG12 on this car? Thanks a lot,

For your 2015 Subaru Forester with tire size 225/60R17 we have a set of tire cables that are Class S compliant that would work well for you. For that you would want the part # PW1042. This cable set is also a fit for the tire size you have on your 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. This is the ideal solution as it fits both vehicles and since it's not a chain it works with the Forester's requirements.
