The Pro Series 30056, is the similar hitch to the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs, # RP30047. This is a nice hitch that will be a universal fit for most 5th wheel base rails, however, it is not recommended for use with a 6 foot bed unless you use a Revolution or Reese Sidewinder pin box on your trailer. Without a sliding 5th wheel hitch these alternate pin boxes are needed to allow you the clearance to prevent damage to your vehicle and allow you to make sharp turns. I don't recommend using a standard hitch and standard pin box combination on a short bed truck. I've attached an article to help.
For your application, I recommend the 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs, # RP30075, for your application. This will allow you to make the corners without the special pin box replacement. This hitch will move the king pin of your trailer 11 inches closer to your tailgate when locked in the turning position to allow you greater clearance.
If you don't have the rail kit installed yet, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, # RP50140-58. I've attached a video of this installation for you.
