Size of Bushing Inner Diameter in Slipper Leaf Springs

Question:

I need to replace the springs on my small utility trailer. P/N 177275 appears to be the correct replacement with the exception of bushing inside diameter. My trailer uses 1/2 inch ID hanger bolt hardware. Solution?

Replacement trailer leaf springs should be selected based on axle weight rating and also on spring length. The 2-Leaf Slipper Spring # SP-177275 fits 1000-lb-rated axles, is 24-5/8-inches long and has 9/16-inch inner diameter (11/16-inch outer diameter) bushings like # TRBU11566. None of the slipper springs we offer has a 1/2-inch inner diameter bushings, either 9/16-inch or larger.

All such springs are shown on the linked page.

Be sure to replace your springs in pairs to avoid issues with axle alignment and suspension performance.
