Typically Where to Find Keyed Power Source for Installing Isolation Solenoid
Question:
I had this solenoid in my Silverado and it worked fine. Bought a new, 2016 RAM 2500 and it appears as though the battery fuse is always hot, not just when the ignition is on. Do you have any suggestions as to another fuse that may be off when the ignition is? Thanks in advance,

You will have to find a circuit that only sees power when the key is on. Typically the ignition circuit at the fuse box will work well for this. You can use a fuse tap to tap into that circuit.
Or if you want to find a circuit within your vehicle typically the radio circuit or cruise control circuit can be used for this.
