Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendations for a 2007 Saturn Vue
Question:
Wondering why all of the comments and videos are for Chevy terrain and equinox? Do you have install videos of Saturn, and is this the correct hitch? Also wonder why the this item is cheeper but seems to have great reviews? thanks

We make videos based on what vehicles customers bring to us for installations. The 2007 Saturn Vue was built on the same platform (the GM Theta platform) as the Chevy Captiva Sport and Equinox, The Pontiac Torrent, and GMC Terrain, among others. Only the bodies where different so the videos shown for those other vehicles can still be used as good guides when installing a hitch on the Vue. As for the comments/reviews that is just coincidence.
The etrailer hitch # e98865 does fit your Vue. Hitches are given their ratings based on testing and etrailer deemed that this hitch is rated for 350 pounds tongue weight and 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight. However, you are still limited to the capacities of the vehicle specified in the owner's manual for the various trim levels of the vehicle.
Costs are relative. Different companies often have different costs of their own that lead to differences in price. Where a hitch is made also affects cost. The etrailer hitch and the Curt hitches are made domestically.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118418 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have linked a video showing an example installation of the wiring for you.
