Will Grounding Brake Magnets to a Trailer Frame Cause Weak Braking

Question:

I grounded magnets right to trailer frame. Will this cause a problem.

Actually having the magnets grounded close to them is ideal. Nine times out of ten when you experience weak braking on a trailer it is because the brakes need to be adjusted. Even new brakes including new self-adjusting brakes will need to be adjusted before they can provide optimal braking.
