Parts Needed to Install Yakima Crossbars on a 2017 Subaru Outback Limited Wagon

Question:

I am reading on your site about changing the stock crossbars with parts Landing pad #Y00241, towers #Y00148 and adapters for round cross bars #Y03536. I have the round bars already. But I am looking to find out is if there is any forward to rear adjustment with this system as I have a yakima rocketbox which only adjusts at 32inches or 34inches and the stock racks are coming in at 39inches or 30inches. Also I want to confirm the yakima universal mounts will work on the stock crossbar. Thanks You for any help

To use your current Yakima round crossbars like the part # Y00408 on your 2017 Subaru Outback wagon we have parts available that will allow that. You would need the SkyLine Towers # Y53TR, RoundBar SL Adapter # Y03536, and Landing Pad # Y00241.

The crossbars will be fixed at 29-1/2 inches apart though which would not work with a cargo box that requires 32 to 34 inches of spread.
