Trailer 7-Way Connector and Wiring to Rewire a Trailer with Electric Brakes
Question:
Im having trouble with a 16 ft flat bed trailer with electric brakes... its definitely on the trailer side. Ive decided after many days of trying to find the problem that I would replace all the wiring. Do you have trailer wiring kit for a 7 blade plug trailer side with electronic brakes.

We have the Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20043 which is 4 feet long. If it were me, I would use this with a junction box, like # 38656. For the wire you will want 10 gauge for the brakes, part # 10-1-1, and 12 gauge wire, part # 12-1-1, for lights. Both are sold by the foot. You will also need ring terminals # 44-5310A and butt connectors # DW05745-10.
