We have basically two different styles of hitches for your 2008 Honda Ridgeline. The Curt part # 13385 which has a crosstube that sits higher and would not be visible and the Draw Tite part # 75280 which has a crosstube that hangs a bit lower and would be a bit more visible.
The Curt will essentially only have the hitch opening visible and the Draw Tite will have the opening and the crosstube somewhat visible.
