Trailer Hitch Cargo Carrier on 2005 Hummer H2 that will Clear Rear Mounted Spare Tire

Question:

I am looking for a hitch carrier to fit a 2005 hummer h2. It has a spare tire on a swing mount on the rear if the truck. It looks like I need at least 15inch from the center of the hitch pin to clear the spare tire. What carrier do you recommend?

The 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874- gives you 19-1/2 inches from hitch pin hole to carrier.

This is a folding carrier. However, you are not going to have enough clearance on your 2005 Hummer H2 to use the folding feature. The spare tire is going to get in the way. But the folding carriers give you more clearance than non-folding ones do so that's the benefit. This carrier is rated for 500 pounds and has a tilting feature.
