is there and difference in height between a st205/75d14 and a st205/75d15 tire. I want to change from 14inch to the 15inch on my tandom axle to match my other trailer and was worried about clearance. thanks

The difference between the two tires you mentioned is 1-inch.

You will take up and additional 1/2 inch of clearance from the tire to the fender. You want at least 3-inches of clearance between the tire and fender for suspension travel. If you have at least 3-inches you should have no problem going to a 15-inch tire and wheel from the 14-inch you have.

You do want to make sure you use a wheel with the same bolt pattern. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to determine the bolt pattern of your wheel.
