Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier
Question:
Do you have any pictures of this hitch mounted on the newly redesigned Chevrolet Malibu Premier 2016? This vehicle has dual exhaust and a large plastic fascia at the rear bumper and I am curious to see what this will look like. I would like for the hitch to be virtually unnoticeable.

For the 2016 Chevy Malibu the Premier is just a trim package and in this case does not affect the fit of Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36652. So it will essentially look identical to the vehicle in the instructions which I have linked for you. This hitch was specially designed for the new body style (2016/2017) Chevy Malibu.
There is some fascia trimming involved which will be around the hitch receiver. This means that most of the hitch will be hidden but that you will also need to trim the fascia so it is kind of a double-edged sword.
If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # 36071. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring you can use # 118689 to add a 4-Way connector to the rear of the vehicle.
