Do CIPA Tow Mirrors CM11000-2 Fit a 1997 Ford F-250
Question:
the picture of the mirror on your website CM11000-2looks just like mine, when I open the installation manual, and see your 11000 mirrors, they slide on from the left or right and I am not sure how they stay locked on with this : ?Felt-covered wedge locks securely hold slip-on mirrors in place. Can you explain how the locks work with the hole on the side and the only thing possible to attach to is on the bottom.

For your 1996 Ford F-250 the Cipa Tow Mirrors part # CM11000-2 that you referenced are a confirmed fit.
If you check out the picture I attached that I took from the install instructions you can see that after you slide the mirror on the mirror housing you attach the included hook to the mirror support bracket and then attach the hook to the tow mirror.
