want to know what kind of tranny cooler I am going to need with this little 6 banger we have. Do not want to fry a 50 miles down the road, any way ,,,,,I towing with an automatic engine 4.0

When choosing a transmission cooler, the general rule of thumb is to choose the largest cooler that will fit in the available space (unless you live in a very cold climate).

The best place to mount the cooler is directly behind the grille, directly in front of the radiator and AC condenser. The Derale # D13503 measures 11 inches long 8-3/4 inches tall and 7/8 of an inch thick. If you have the necessary space available, this cooler would work perfectly.
