Parts Needed to Tow a Fifth Wheel Trailer with a 2011 Toyota Tundra 6-1/2 foot Bed

I have a 2011 toyota tundra reg cab 6 1/2foot bed what all do I need for a 5th wheel hitch Ive never had or used one before

Since you have a bed shorter than 8 feet on your 2011 Toyota Tundra you would need a slider hitch to give you the needed clearance to make tight turns. For that the most popular option is the Reese Fifth Wheel Slider part # RP30075.
For fifth wheel rails you would then want the custom install kit part # RP50084-58 as it would minimize drilling and install time compared to a universal kit.
For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches. This kit installs in line with the 7-way at the rear of your truck and gives you a second one to install in the bed.
