For a replacement ladder to install on the back of your motorhome I recommend the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder, part # LA-401.

This ladder has 7 steps and has pivoting mounting brackets at the top so you are sure to get a good fit. This ladder measures 99-1/2 inches tall and 13-inches wide. The legs can be trimmed to the length you want or need and the ladder has a 250-lb weight capacity.

I attached a picture that shows how the Stand Off Brace part #SPN-416 attaches to both the ladder and the RV wall. Basically a single screw holds the ladder to it and then 4 screws hold it to the RV wall.
