Longer Hitch Extension for Backing Boat Down Ramp

Question:

I would like a hitch extension that can be easily installed when its time to launch my boat to keep the back of the truck from going to far into the water. So I would like to take my ball and ball mount out of receiver, slide the extension into the receiver then put the ball mount into the extension, hook up the boat trailer and back into the lake. I am looking for a length of about 48. Is this something you have?

If you have a 2 inch hitch we do not have any solutions for this. If you have a 2-1/2 inch hitch, we don't have 48" but can go 34" with the # RP45292.

Depending on how the angle of the ramp changes a super long extension may not be a great idea as it would either point the nose of the trailer up super high or down to low.

The longest extension we have for a 2 inch hitch is 18 inches and it would be part # HE18.

Using a hitch extender cuts the capacity of the hitch it is used on in half.
