Will The Draw-Tite Class III Hitch Fit 2011 KIA Sorento SX

Question:

According to the dealer, an after market hitch is not available for the Sorento SX . The dealer has quoted $700+ for this. Can you please research? The SX model has reconfigured exhaust and a lower chrome trim plate. Thx

Our representative at Draw-Tite has confirmed in the past that the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch for the 2011 Kia Sorento, part # 75684 will fit the 2011 Kia Sorento SX models.

However, part # 75684 will not fit the SX models that have dual exhaust, or an exhaust tip on the driver side and the passenger side. This does not mean just dual exhaust tips on one side, but an exhaust tip on each side of the vehicle.

The Kia Dealership may just be unaware that there is an aftermarket hitch available for the 2011 Kia Sorento SX.

In addition to part # 75684, to complete your towing setup you may need a ball mount, hitch ball, pin and clip, and wiring. For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, part # 989900. This is a kit which includes 2 ball mounts, a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, and a hitch pin and clip.

For trailer wiring, use # C56332 if your SX model has the Factory Tow Prep Package, or # 118506 without the tow package.
