Recommended Air Helper Springs For 2003 Ford F-350
Question:
I am looking to install the Firestone 2550 on my 2003 F350. Is the mounting bracket 18140 included in the 2550 and is this the right mounting bracket for my truck? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The Tow Ready No-Drill Mount Bracket, part # 18140 is designed to install on a trailer hitch and provide a mounting base for a trailer connector. This is not included in the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2550.
If you are looking for a trailer connector for the back of your F-350 I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Harness, part # 18252.
The # F2550 is a confirmed fit for your F-350 truck. This system is designed to reduce the strain on your suspension when you are hauling heavy loads. You can adjust the air pressure in the air springs between 5 and 100 psi. This system is not designed to increase the load-carrying capacity of your truck.
