Can Vehicle with 4-Way Connector Tow Vehicle with 7-Way
Question:
My trailer has 7 way connector and i plan to install a 4 flat wiring on my 2016 traverse. My boat has a 4 flat and i would prefer that hook up. Is there a 7 way connector to 4 flat? Does that exist. I guess it would be the reverse setup.

Expert Reply:
To go from a 4-way on a vehicle to a 7-way on a trailer you would want the part # 37185. This will give you all of the taillight functions for the trailer. As long as you don't need a brake output circuit or reverse light circuit for a reverse lock out this would be all you would need.
For a 4-way for your 2016 Chevy Traverse you would want the part # C56181.
