Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the AceCamp Mosquito Headnet. This is a soft polyester mesh. It's going to be very easy to see through and not very heavy to wear, so if you're out on the trail it's not going to be hard to breathe through or not very inhibiting. But it is going to help keep out the mosquitoes and biting flies, different insects like that.You can see it does have this draw cord down here that's going to make sure that we have a nice tight fit, so nothing's getting up underneath there.
So as we're hiking through the forest, we don't have to worry about getting bit on our face. All those different kinds of biting bugs. It is very soft and lightweight, very comfortable to wear. The most uncomfortable portion is probably the straw string and there's probably better ways to get that tightened down, so it's not pressing right on my throat.But other than that, I could probably wear this all day. Don't feel like I'm getting a lot of push back on my breathe.
Feel like it's still venting out well, so I'm not going to hyperventilate or anything if I'm doing heavy hiking. And then when I'm done, I can simply take it off. It does come with a nice little storage bag, so I just fold it up nice and tight. I can put it in the storage bag here. This is very compact so it will easily fit into my pant pocket or just the pocket on my hiking bag, or anything like that.
Very small.Obviously, I can't test it out here in my studio to know if it actually works to prevent the mosquitoes, but it's same basic technology that they use for all the mosquito nets. So I would assume that it would do well for that, but it's going to be very easy to keep stored if you ever need it. Very comfortable to wear.So I think it's going to do a good job of helping you when you're out hiking, wanting to keep those mosquitoes off your face, neck and overall head.
