Compatibility of Derale D15902 Transmission/Oil Cooler w/ 2014 Ford Explorer
Question:
Does this product work and fit a 2014 Ford Explorer 6 cylinder?

The Derale # D15902 isn't a vehicle specific product, but you'll want to measure to see if there's available space for the heat exchanger. The best and most efficient place to mount the heat exchanger is directly behind the grille, in front of the radiator and A/C condenser. You'll want to ensure that there's sufficient space to accommodate the 17 inch wide x 12-1/2 tall x 3/4 inch thick heat exchanger.
The sandwich adapter for the oil filter includes a 22mm x 1.5 sleeve nut, which is compatible with the oil filter landing on your engine block.
So yes, the kit will be compatible with your Explorer.
I've linked you to some FAQ articles that explain how transmission and oil coolers work.
