Installing Trailer Connector on 2013 Nissan Armada without Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have a 2013 Nissan Armada that did not come with a 7-way connector but does have the factory wiring plug at the back, I need to put trailer lights on but Im unsure about how many relays are needed. I have seen a kit that has 3 but have read that I need 1 under the dashI dont have this one. Can you help with some part #s.

You are correct you will need an additional relay since your vehicle did not come with a factory tow package. To install a trailer connector on your 2013 Nissan Armada, you will want the Hopkins Factory Style 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Vehicle End Trailer Connector # N40975 that includes a trailer connector and 3 relays, and an additional blue relay from the Curt relay Kit # C57000 to install under the dash and complete the trailer light circuit. The # N40975 and Relay Kit # C57000 will be all you need to set your Armada up to connect to a trailer's wiring.
I have attached installation videos for to that show where to install the additional relay under the dash and the components of the kit on an earlier model year Armada.
