Recommendations For Replacement Jack With 1000 Pound Capacity and Tapered Collar Bracket
Question:
I am replacing an older Fulton Jack, no model # on jack, but has a 1000 pound capacity. It looks like the model shown FXP10W0301, except that my jack has a flat plate on it to allow it to mount to the mounting bracket supplied by my trailers manufacturer. The old mounting bracket is a two-piece plate with a single mounting bolt in the center, but each piece has a tapered collar that fit inside each other with a metal washer to allow it to turn without binding. I dont think this new jacks mounting plate tapered in back - not flat will work with my existing bracket. What do you suggest?

It looks like the item you selected, Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack, part # FXP10W0301, would be a good replacement jack. On the back plate of this jack there is a raised or welded on circular piece of metal, but by what you described I do not think it will work with your existing bracket.
I browsed through the website using the specifications you provided for your jack, I found a jack that should work for you. The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack w/ Caster, part # FXP10, which has its own mounting bracket to attach to your trailer frame.
I would recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack w/ Caster, part # FXP10, as a replacement jack. Part # FXP10, comes with the necessary mounting hardware to mount to your boat trailer.
I believe the mounting plate that you have on your boat, is similar to Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Jack, part # P9012-00, as it is compatible with part # FXP10, this is why I think part # FXP10 is a direct replacement for your Fulton Jack.
