Where Does Hopkins Trailer Wiring Harness Plug Into on a 2001 Subaru Outback

2001 subaru outback sedan Location of the trailer lights wire connector or does it not come with one ?

On your 2001 Subaru Outback there is a 3 inch square access panel located behind the driver's side tail light housing. Remove that panel and look for the mating connector to plug in Hopkins wiring harness # 33855. I have included a picture of what the connector on the vehicle will look like. The video linked is not exactly the same in terms of installation but will give you an idea of what you are looking for.
