On the Pro Series Trailer Jack, # PSEA20000103, the measurement from the the mounting bracket to the top of the housing is 11 inches. The measurement of just the jack housing below the mounting plate is 7 inches. The jack will stick out another inch on the bottom housing when fully retracted.
I also have the Pro Series Trailer Jack, # PS1401000303, which is a topwind, 2,000 lbs. jack. It measures 16 inches from the mounting bracket to the top of the housing. The measurement of the jack housing below the mounting plate is 4-1/2 inches. The jack will also stick out another inch when fully retracted.
Both of the Pro Series jacks will have an outer tube diameter of 2-1/4 inches and the inner tube, that extends and retracts, will have a 2 inch diameter.
The foot plate or caster is sold separately for both jacks. The foot plate is the Pro Series Detachable Footplate, # PS1400700340, and the caster assembly is the Pro Series 6 Inch Detachable Caster, # PS1400750340.
