Replacement Lid For Roof Vent On 1997 Four Winds Chateau Motorhome
Question:
I have a 1997 Four Winds Chateau motorhome. I have 3 roof vents damaged by hail. On the vent it says replace with VA-530. I just want to replace the dome lid, not the whole vent assembly. Is BV0554-03 the correct part? My vent looks quite similar. Are decent instructions included? Thank you.

The Vent Cover, part # BV0554-03 is designed to replace damaged or work lids on old style Ventline roof vents that have a continuous hinge.
Check the hinge on the underside of your vent to make sure you get the correct style before ordering.
I have attached photos of the three different style hinges for the roof vents we offer. Just use the filter on the page to find the correct hinge style you need for your motorhome. The installation is pretty straightforward. You would just need to remove the hinge pin. Some require the end of the pin to be straightened out to slide it out of the hinge. Then replace the lid, re-insert the hinge pin and you are good to go.
