Question:

I recently purchased a small sail boat sunfish and the trailer is from 1978. I need to wire the trailer for lights. My 2011 Honda Pilot does not have an outlet installed to connect the lights. Can you please tell me what I need to install the wiring harness? Please provide the sku#s for all item I will need to successfully install the harness. Secondary - If you also have any other products that I will need to wire my sailboat trailer such as the lighting kit Water proof is possible , axel Wheel base is 41-inches, wheel and tires that would also be helpful. Thank you so much for your prompt response.

For trailer wiring for your 2011 Honda Pilot you would want the part # 118491 which is a confirmed fit and will provide you with a 4-way trailer connector. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

The Optronics Pro Trailer Light Kit with 25 ft Wiring Harness, part # TL36RK features 2 universal trailer lights with a driver-side license plate light and also includes amber side marker and clearance lights. This harness is 25 ft long and includes the mounting hardware. I have attached a product review video for this kit you can check out. I also attached a help article on trailer wiring that has some diagrams that will be helpful.

If you need additional wiring or lighting let me know and I will be glad to make some recommendations that will work for you.

To pick out wheels and tires I would first need to know what tire size you have stamped on the side of the tire sidewall. Also I would need to know the bolt pattern of the wheel too.
