Will Using a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Put Too Much Pressure/Weight on Back Glass of 2005 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
I have a Hyundai Tucson, does the rack cause any pressure on the back window ? Have you ever heard of a problem with this?

Most of the force applied to a vehicle from a trunk mount bike rack is on the lower foot and the top straps. On a vehicle like your 2005 Hyundai Tucson a trunk mount bike rack such as # TH910XT will have the top foot resting on the rear glass but it won't be pushing all that hard on it.
I had a 2004 Santa Fe that was the same way and never had a problem. I also have not heard any complaints from customers either. I have linked a video review of this bike rack on a newer Tucson.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
