Recommendation for Thule Bike Rack for Carrying Wider Frame Bike
Question:
Are there wider cradles than this for the Thule Spare me? My new bikes top tube is wider and doesnt fit completely into the cradle. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The only Thule cradle that would fit would be the T3 cradle # 853-5829 which also fits on 1 inch diameter arms and has a very wide and flat top portion.
You would also need different anti-sway cradles, # 753-3530. You may need to use an adapter bar like # UB01 in order to properly secure the bike to the cradles and just keep the cradles you have.
This will attach at the steering stem and seat post to provide you with an attachment point that your current cradles would have no problem with.
