Question:
The strap # 753-3535 I received with this order does not fit the cradle # 853-5829?

It looks like you purchased the Thule T3 Cradle, # 853-5829, and the T3 Strap, # 753-3535. These two items should work well together so I made a short demonstration video for you. If you think you may have received a different strap or are missing a part, let us know so we can send you the correct parts.

I have the Thule Hitching Post Pro which I believe is now referred to as T3. I want to purchase new cradle and straps but I am unable to loosen the rusted screws in the cap at the end of the arms. I’ve tried WD 40. Do you have any other suggestions?
