Trailer Hitch and Equipment Needed to Tow Rental Trailer w/ 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I want to tow a rental trailer with this hitch. What other accessories should I buy for that?

According to the 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe owner's manual, the towing capacity of the vehicle can vary from 1200 to 2700 lbs depending on how the vehicle is equipped and if the trailer has brakes. Check your owner's manual for specifics.
The Curt # C13505 would work well for towing a rental trailer. In addition to the hitch, you'd need a trailer wiring harness, a ball mount and the correct trailer ball. The trailer rental place should be able to tell you what ball size you need.
I'd recommend:
Tow Ready # 118473 trailer wiring harness
Ball Mount # D-4
Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3
1-7/8 Inch Trailer Ball # 19260 or 2 inch ball # 63845
I've linked to install videos for the Curt # C13505 hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
