Upgraded Wet-Bolt Options for a Tandem Axle Trailer

Question:

I have 86 Nu-Wa Hitchhiker - 33foot - doing brake work. I would like to see about refitting the shackle straps and bolts with wet bolts, plus perhaps replace any bushings while Im under there. What am I looking at to do this in terms of $$? Thanks!

That is going to depend on how many axles you have, but for a wet bolt that is 3-5/16 inches long and has a 9/16 inch diameter that most trailers use you would want the part # 126B2. The price is available at the link below.

For a tandem trailer you are most likely going to need 14 of these.

The other option we have is the Never Fail suspension upgrade kit # LC281285 that comes with all new bolts, shackles, and self-lubricating bushings. With this you wouldn't have to ever mess with lubing the bolts.
