Availability of a Trailer Hitch that Will Fit a 2004 Chevy Impala Super Sport
Question:
Will it fit the 2004 Impala Super sport a few years back they said they did not have a hitch for the super sport?

I spoke with my contacts at Curt, Draw-Tite, and Hidden Hitch. They stated that any of the available hitches for the 2004 Chevy Impala will fit the Super Sport model.
The Curt Trailer Hitch, # 12252, that you have referenced is a good choice as it comes with the recommended ball mount, hitch pin and clip. I have included a link to the installation details below.
If you plan on doing some towing, you can use hitch ball # 19258 (2 inch diameter) or # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you will need 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, # 18252. I have included a video showing the installation of this wiring harness on a similar vehicle.
If you plan on using the hitch for a bike rack, cargo carrier, and all other non-trailer loads must be supported by stabilizing straps per Curt warranty requirements.
