The Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution (WD) System # RP66084 includes the required shank and needs only a hitch ball like # A-90 to complete the system.

For a system without the shank that will allow you to select one with the correct rise or drop to keep your hitched trailer frame level with the ground, you can instead use # RP66074 which is also rated for tongue weights from 600 to 1200-lbs. You can then use the linked page for shanks to select the one that will give you the rise or drop you need.

Measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground, and from the top of the ball platform to the ground. The difference is the rise or drop you need.

Just click on trunnion bars and the rise/drop you need to see suitable shanks. For example, for a 13-inch drop you can use shank # C17125.

To select the correct WD system for your trailer, you need to measure its actual fully-loaded tongue weight (TW) and to this add the weight of anything that sits in the truck bed behind the rear axle, say a loaded cooler of generator. With this total TW known you can choose a system rated correctly to give you the desired weight shift forward onto the front axle. Ideally your total TW will fall right near the middle of the system's operating range.

Both Reese system noted above are ideal for TW in the 900-1100-lb range.
