Tongue Weight and Towing Capacity of 2013 Nissan Maxima

What is the tongue and towing capacity for my 2013 Nissan maxima

According to the online owner's manual for your 2013 Nissan Maxima the vehicle's tongue weight (TW) rating is 100-lbs and it's maximum towing capacity (GTW) is 1000-lbs. You can check your own printed manual to see if there is different information for your car provided by Nissan.
The hitches offered for your car are all light-duty Class I types that can be viewed on the linked page. All share a 200-lb/2000-lb rating but since your car is rated lower, you need to abide by that lower rating in any hauling or towing that you do.
Of the three hitches offered I suggest the Draw-Tite # 24796 for its lower cost. All will install in the same way and at the same points on the car frame. All hardware is included and an install video is linked. Tools required are listed in the instructions, which are also linked for you.
For a wiring harness use part # 118470. This installs mostly with plug-in connectors; only one wire needs to be spliced. An article to help you installation is included as well. The recommended ball mount is part # 3594 and for a ball you can use either 1-7/8-inch # 19256 or 2-inch # 19258.
