How Many Lippert Shock Kits is Needed for a Tandem Axle

Question:

I have a 2011 keystone passport 2850 rl trailer and want to improve the ride by installing shocks on my trailer. The passport has a wider wheelbase tandem spacing than ordinary trailers. Would I need to install a set of 4 shocks? I like the Dexter EZ-Flex system but they dont make a unit that fits the axle spread.

Since you have a tandem axle you would need a total of 4 shocks (2 per axle) so that would mean you would need a quantity of 2 of the part # LC281281 that you referenced.

As long as your trailer has a 3 inch axles this kit would work well for you.
