Can an Adjustable Ball Mount Be Used on a 2008 Honda Element
Question:
I am looking for an adjustable trailer hitch to tow a motorcycle trailer with my Honda Element. I think the receiver opening size is one and a quarter inches. Do you sell such a product? I did not see it on your site. Thanks.

We sell trailer hitches for your 2008 Honda Element like the Curt # C11700 but I am thinking you are actually looking for a ball mount for the hitch you have installed on your vehicle.
Since you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch the only ball mount we can recommend is the one the hitch manufacturer recommends. For example, the Curt would require the # C45521 with either the 2 inch ball # A-82 or 1-7/8 inch ball # A-80.
Now you do have the option of replacing your hitch with a 2 inch hitch like # 87506 which would allow you to use an adjustable ball mount like part # C45900.
