Parts to Transfer Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Between Ford F-150 and 2011 GMC Yukon Denali
Question:
Hi, I have a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller in my Ford F150. Id like to get another harness for a GMC Yukon Denali and mounting bracket. What parts do I need and how much is that? If its close I may just buy another unit for the GMC and then have two. Thanks.

We have just what you need to make your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 brake controller (or the P2 # 90885) portable between your Ford and GMC vehicles. All you need is a second wiring harness and a second mounting bracket; this will save you a considerable amount as compared to buying a second P3.
The Yukon does not have an under-dash brake controller port like the Ford does so what you will do on the Yukon is wire in part # 20127 to the wires that are already present under the dash. If you still have the identical pigtail lead that came with the P3 then you can use that part.
I linked for you an article that covers the installation process in your Yukon. This specifies the four wiring connections to be made between the vehicle wires and the pigtail leads. You'll find those wires tucked under the dash as described in the article.
For mounting the P3 in the Yukon you can use either bracket part # TK5906 or pocket type holder # 7686.
Of course, if you prefer you can just order another P3 # 90195 which will include the parts referenced above along with the new controller. For this option you'll need order only the P3.
