Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2016 Starcraft AR-ONe 14RB Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox, V6 FWD. Rated at 3500 lbs towing capacity . We just purchased a 2016 Starcraft AR-ONe 14RB travel trailer. I havent taken delivery of it yet. I expect the travel trailer will need a weight distribution hitch. The AR-1 dry weight is 2390 lbs.GVW 3200 lbs. The dry hitch weight is 255 lbs. I plan on having 2, 20 lb propane tanks, maybe an extra battery. The Pro Series RB3 Weight Distribution System with Shank - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 550 lbs TW looks to be very reasonably priced. Would this be a good choice given the information i have so far?

Most likely the Pro Series RB3 weight distribution system part # PS49581 would work well based on the dimensions you listed since this system is designed for tongue weights up to 550 lbs. I can't imagine your tongue weight would end up being more than that, but you do need to consider the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle as tongue weight.
If you do need to go with a higher rated system the part # RP66541 is good for up to 800 lbs of tongue weight.
I attached a help article on tongue weight for you to check out as well.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
