I need a handle for my winch. I dont know the make or model. It appears this handle may work but I am not sure if the mounting slot size is the same. Can you tell me the size of the slot as well as the nut? Thank you.

The size of the slot in the Winch Replacement Handle, # DL70326, is 3/8 inches wide by 1/2 inches long. The nut is a 1/2 inch, fine thread.

This winch handle is designed to fit models DL1400 and DL1402 including A models of Dutton Lainson hand winches.

The mounting hole in the Dutton-Lainson winch handle #DL70328 measures 1/2 inches wide and 5/8 inches long so with the spring loaded functionality, this is most likely what you are seeking. I've attached a photo to assist.
