Curt's roof-mount cargo basket # C18115 will fit on most factory and aftermarket roof racks as long as their rack bar dimensions are not larger than 3-inches wide x 1-5/8-inches tall, AND as long as the crossbars are spaced at one of three specific distances apart, 15-, 22-, or 29-inches apart, as measured at the bars' centers.
If your roof rack cannot provide any of these particular bar spreads then I suggest you use a cargo basket with more flexible mounting options, such as the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket # RMCB which works with bar spreads anywhere between 21- and 30-inches on center. Yakima's LoadWarrior basket # Y07070 also fits a range of bar spreads, from 24- to 32-inches.
Before loading your cargo you'll want to confirm the weight capacity of the car's roof and of the roof rack installed on it. Even though the Curt basket has a 150-lb capacity this may not be shared by the roof rack or the vehicle itself. When various components in a system - in this case a car, roof rack and cargo carrier - have different ratings, the lower rating determines overall capacity.
