Can Curt E5 Fifth Wheel Hitch, # C16116, Be Converted To Slider Hitch By Using Hitch Roller Adapter
Question:
I have a Curt E5 16k stationary hitch with the rails, it is about 3 yrs old, is it possible to convert it to a slider by just buying the slider mechanism?, and if so how much would it cost.

You will need two items to convert your CURT Fifth Wheel, # C16116, to a slider fifth wheel hitch.
You will need to attach your CURT E5 head to the R5 Roller Adapter for CURT E5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch, # C16505.
Then, you will attach the CURT E5 head and the adapter to the CURT R16 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Roller, # C16560. Then, the CURT R16 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Roller should be installed in the rails on your truck.
I am sending a video link to the CURT hitch Roller being installed on a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD.
