Will Brake Controller Cause Battery Power Drain When Installed

On a brake controller install, with it hooked to battery and ground all the time will it draw my battery down if truck sets a lot. 2013 ford f150 thanks

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller, part # TK90160 has a power saving mode feature.

If the brake controller senses no motion for fifteen minutes, enables the power saving mode and will have no significant draw from the battery and will not cause the battery to drain.
